Ever wonder how much free ram you have available for opening up another application? Ever wish your inserted floppy disks would open automatically? Ever wish your trash would empty itself?
FreeRamPlus does this and more!
1. FreeRamPlus1.1.1 displays the current free ram in a window that can be positioned anywhere on the screen with the added advantage of remembering that location the next time FreeRamPlus is opened.
2. FreeRamPlus also allows the user to calibrate the free ram displayed so that it reflects exactly the same figure that is found in the "About This Macintoshﾉ" window. 3. FreeRamPlus allows the user to set the window and the "free ram number" to several different colors.
4. FreeRamPlus will tell the finder to automatically open inserted floppy disks.
5. FreeRamPlus will automatically empty an item put in the trash within 6, 15, 30 seconds or never. Choose the larger times if you empty a lot of files at once.
6. The FreeRamPlus window expands to display the Free Disk Space of an inserted floppy disk.
7. FreeRamPlus allows you to choose between Chicago 12 or Geneva 9 font, to display the FreeRam and FDSpace numbers.
8. Clicking on the active FreeRamPlus window with any modifier key depressed, will display the "About this Macintosh..." window.
9. FreeRamPlus also contains a help menu item explaining all of these options.
10. All options can be turned on or off separately and mixed and matched in any way.
11□. Put FreeRamPlus in your startup folder. It should start up first so that it won't fragment your ram memory.
12. FreeRamPlus1.1.1 correctly displays free ram up to 999.9 megabytes.
13. The registered version of FreeRamPlus does not display the "About FreeRamPlusﾉ" alert when closing.

apple scripts, to make sure I was handling the apple events correctly. If it weren't for his help I could not have added the "auto disk open" feature. A pretty tricky bit of apple event coding.
